Notifications Help

SkySafari can notify you about transient events, bright satellites, and planet risings. These notifications are generated for next 24 hour period each time SkySafari is brought to the foreground. If you go for a day or so without using SkySafari, the notifications will stop. Do Not Disturb: When turned on, no notifications will be delivered during the specified time period. Planet risings: When turned on, SkySafari will notify you of Sun, Moon and planet risings. Bright Satellites and Flares: When turned on, SkySafari will notify you when the International Space Station (ISS), the Tiangong Space Station, or the Hubble Space Telescope (HST) is rising for a visible pass. It will also notify you when an Iridium satellite is about to flare. Transient Events: When turned on, SkySafari will notify you of moon phases, eclipses, planetary moon events, meteor showers and planetary phenomenon such as conjunctions, elongations and oppositions to name but a few of the events you can select to be notified about.
